General Information
- Georgia Tech will reimburse local participants for daily mileage and provide vouchers for parking at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. To reduce costs, no other expenses (extra parking beyond what is needed for the event, parking in non-designated areas, per-diem, Uber/taxi, public transportation, etc.) will be reimbursed. Other arrangements may be permitted for anyone with mobility issues, but these circumstances should be discussed before purchase.
- The mileage reimbursement rate is 0.575/mile.
- To be reimbursed for mileage, you will need to provide a map that shows your original address and final destination with the exact amount of miles traveled. Please see an example here.
- If your university is paying for your mileage, please make us aware of this during the reimbursement process. We will need emailed documentation stating that you intend to reimburse your university because the reimbursement will go directly back to the participant.
- Guests should park inside of the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference parking deck. The address for this deck is 800 Spring St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. The Global Learning Center, where the event will take place, can be accessed from the second floor of this parking deck.
- Parking vouchers will be provided at the meeting. Please be sure to get your voucher before leaving.
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days of the meeting, as well as dinner on Thursday night.
Registration Steps (As our event has been postponed, we urge you not to pay a registration fee or RSVP for this event).
