GOALS: To develop the data and decision science to improve mobility and accessibility in Atlanta.
METHODS & TECHNOLOGIES: Optimization, Machine learning, Data mining, Simulation, Behavorial modeling, Survey methods, High-Performance computing, Cloud computing.
RESEARCH AND INNOVATION ISSUES: The project requires novel data mining, machine learning, visualization, and optimization techniques to design new mobility services, including on-demand public transit, community-based ride sharing, and ride-sourcing services.
