NEW TEAM: ChemFlow

GOALS: Green chemistry and engineering are creating a culture change for the future direction of industry. Flow chemistry will be an essential tool to sustainable and tailored chemical-based processes. This project will design, build, test and evaluate prototypes of flow reactors for targeted chemical processes.

METHODS & TECHNOLOGIES: Flow technologies, In-flow and batch analysis, Multi-step synthesis, Reactor design, Modeling, Catalysis, Separations technology, Specialty polymers, Nanomaterials. 

RESEARCH/DESIGN ISSUES: Technology transfer from batch to flow; reaction and reactor design; in-flow IR analysis; in-flow UV analysis with live data information.
