Intelligent Platform for Crowdsourcing (IP Crowd)
GOALS: To develop and implement new approaches with cognitive reasoning modules and advanced data and knowledge visualization to enhance the experience and usefulness of crowdsourced problem-solving.
METHODS & TECHNOLOGIES: Crowdsourcing, knowledge representation and reasoning, cognitive systems, data visualization, hypothesis generation and evaluation, collaboration technologies, user interaction design.
RESEARCH/DESIGN ISSUES: Design of collaboration techniques, provision of domain specific intelligent support modules for crowd participants, data visualization for multiple kinds of data with scaling, design of human interaction for a crowd-based system, appropriate decision support and information access for crowd participants.
