The VIP Consortium will hold its annual meeting Thursday May 14 through Friday May 15 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Participants will include directors and key faculty/staff from current and prospective VIP sites, with up to two* representatives from each institution.  Guests typically arrive Wednesday evening and depart late Friday afternoon/evening.  Sessions conclude by 3:00pm Friday.  In addition to travel and hotel details, the registration forms linked to the left serve as a call for presenters and an open request for session topics.  Final topic selection will depend on interest, utility, and suggestions.

The costs incurred by no-shows (food, hotel, and planning) are increasing as the Consortium grows. To defray these losses participants will be asked to pay a $200 fee to hold their registration. This fee will be refunded after in-person attendance at the conference. No-shows will not be refunded. Registration-hold fees can be paid here. Please save your confirmation number, as it will be requested in the registration forms. Submissions without a registration confirmation # will not be accepted.

All participants (excluding local attendees) must book their rooms with the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Georgia Tech will provide lodging at this hotel for two participants from each institution. Georgia Tech will NOT cover the cost for participants to stay in other hotels. Participants will be responsible for incidentals and no-show costs. A credit card is thus required at the time of booking. Participants MUST secure their booking in order to register/RSVP. Registrations without a hotel confirmation # will not be accepted. Your hotel reservation can be made here. Please save your confirmation number, as it will be requested in the registration form. The hotel deadline is 03/15/2020. 

As agreed upon at the 2018 annual meeting, established VIP sites are asked to provide program and enrollment data prior to the Consortium meeting.  Please use the templates provided here. The due date for data submissions is April 1. Most VIP Programs will need to request this data from a central campus office such as Institutional Research or Budget and Planning, so Directors should be sure to make these requests well in advance.

  • *If there will be more than two participants from your institution, please note that we can only provide rooms/partial travel reimbursement for two of them. Your institution would be responsible for the cost of remaining participants.
